Started using finer grade honing stones for honing tracks of inner & outer Raceways It resulted in achieving better finish.
Improvement made in handling system or races. All inner races are now moved on Prong stands, to avoid damage during movement.
Assembly is now being done in dust proof environment.
We have now acquired noise testing and radial clearance testing machines. Each Bearing is tested for noise and radial clearance.
Bearings are now washes with M.T.O. instead of kerosene oil. Which was Previously used M.T.O. is free from sulphur and better washing media.
MTO used in bearing washing are now filtered through 1urn filter, earlier it was filtered through 5 urn filter. This resulted in considerable reduction in noise level.
Experiments conducts with different oils for use of rust preventive and lubrication oil. Castrol DW-901 oil is now being used as rust preventive and lubrication oil, which improves smooth running of bearings.
